The hotel is located within the city walls of Toledo. Its main building is a blacksmith’s workshop that dates back from 1815. Placed in a privileged and easy to access location, near Zocodover (main square) the hotel is surrounded by the city’s main landmarks such as: Puerta del Sol, Mezquita del Cristo de la Luz (999 a.C.), Puerta de Bisagra etc. It also offers breathtaking views to the river Tajo.

A smart, 3 star hotel that opened in 2003. It offers 22 rooms, all individually decorated and where original elements such as beams, wood work and bricks have been maintained during the refurbishment and now combine with modern and functional design. The result is a cosy and innovative hotel.

Local gastronomy combines Castilian rural influences (roasts, breadcrumbs), Arabian influences (marzipan, desserts) and game (stewed partridge, venison) with the best local wines (Denominación de origen La Mancha and Méntrida). Also very interesting discovering local craftsmanship such as Damasquinado (of Arab origin), ceramics and leather and wrought-in iron armors and swords (Toledo is famous for its steel).
