The hotel has 180 rooms, including four suites. There are six convention
rooms with a capacity for up to 350 people. Comfortably and functionally
decorated, this hotel is excellent for both business travellers and
tourists.
The hotel restaurant "Kukuarri" has won prizes like Madrid Fusión's "Revelation 2005". This restaurant has a warm atmosphere, and every dish is prepared with care, respecting every ingredient. It has a menu of the day, à la carte menu and room service and also caters for companies, conventions, banquets etc. The hotel also offers a bar-cafeteria, a breakfast buffet and an early risers breakfast.
The hotel has a privileged location, only 100 metres from Ondarreta beach and one of the city's most beautiful promenades, "El peine de los vientos". At the end of this promenade you can admire the sculptures made by the genius Chillida with the Bay of Biscay on the background. The promenade also leads to the beautiful Miramar gardens, with the impressive Miramar Palace that once was the royal residence. Here, you will have one of the most beautiful views of the city and its bay. There are different stops in front of the hotel, allowing you to easily reach any part of the city. The train and bus station can be reached in 5 minutes by car. The airport is situated in the nearby city of Fuenterrabia, 20 minutes by car from San Sebastián.
A walk across the Bay will lead you to the city's fisher's port, with its many restaurants and bars. Next to the port, you will find the lovely Accuarium- Donostia and close to that, the Paseo Nuevo, the area where the waves of the Bay of Biscay bang into the rocks, under the watchful eye of the Christ of the Sacred Heart on the Urgull mountain. Also close to the hotel, you can make a cable car trip to mount Igeldo, admiring the city from the highest point. Also close by: an amusement park in Belle Epoque-style.
