The Medplaya Hotel Calypso is a short walk from the beach and just 2.5 km from PortAventura theme park. It has two large outdoor swimming pools.

The Hotel Calypso is located n Salou, one of the main tourist centres
of the Costa Dorada. It is a coast with an exceptional climate where
beautiful beaches and bays with fine sands run into one another. It
offers a variety of choices for enjoying the sea with all types of
watersports. The location of Salou is an excellent point also from
which to set off and explore some of the many marvellous spots both
on the coast and inland in the province of Tarragona.
The Calypso has 514 double rooms distributed in the three interconnected buildings that make up the hotel. All rooms have full bath, balcony, air-conditioning, cable and satellite television and telephone.
The most popular destination of the Costa Dorada is Salou. This resort has some of the best leisure amenities in Spain and along with its wide sandy beaches and coves there are a full range of sporting, leisure and cultural possibilities .
The service in the dining room is buffet style. You will find a wide variety of Mediterranean and continental dishes to choose from. In the summer season there is also the "Al Fresco" restaurant, which is completely out of door and where the service is of Mediterranean food a la carte.
