Pousada Vila Viçosa - Vila Viçosa- Region: Alentejo/Formerly a 16th Century Convent, located in the same square as the favorite royal residence of the House of Braganca in Portugal.

The Pousada Vila Viçosa is set in the former Convent of Chagas de Cristo in the historical village of Vila Viçosa. With its very characteristic intricate thematic rooms full of legends and tales, the Pousada has kept the convent cells, the retreats and the oratories intact which were built by the nuns.
