El Minzah is one of the few 5-star establishments in the city. Built in 1930 at the command of John Crichton-Stuart, the 4th Marquis of Bute, a British aristocrat with extensive interests in the area.

The Andalusian patio is the heart of the hotel; entering through the magnificently carved sandstone portal and iron studded wooden doors of the El Minzah, you access the patio via a flight of marble steps. Its architecture, fountains and orange trees create an exquisite atmosphere for dining from morning into the evening. In addition to this, the pillars, crowned by Moorish-Corinthian capitals, support an arcade that has walls which are lavishly embellished with hand-cut blue and white Moroccan mosaics.

Located in the city center, El Minzah Wellness Health Club is the ideal place to eliminate stress. With its 2000 m2, the club provides 20 cabins for individual treatments, an aquatic circuit and a facility for health checks by a permanent physician and physiotherapist.
