It was dammed in 1921, forming 3 reservoirs flanked by pine forests.The area is most famous as being one of the best rock climbing areas in Europe, but is also very popular for mountain biking, hiking, and camping, and where you can spot eagles, Royal vultures, Spanish ibex and other endangered species.
