The hotel´s philosophy is to achieve that our guests feel this to be a “home away from home” and in order to create this ambience, we insist in providing a personalised service, whereby guest´s needs and wants are anticipated and constantly looked after. In essence, it is like a “big house” of fifty-one bedrooms and seven meeting rooms of different sizes, where both, discretion and tranquillity reign at all times. A ten metres indoor swimming pool is located in the basement level.

Located in the old library of the palace is the restaurant of the
hotel.Alfonso Gutierrez is the Sommelier (First Prize Sommelier by
the Chamber of Commerce 2001). The restaurant menu is changed every
three months, always achieving a perfect combination of a varied international
cuisine served in a harmonious service style. It is also possible
to enjoy the traditional degustation meal of the Hotel AC Santo Mauro.
It is located in the heart of the Madrilenian district of Chamberi, very near the Paseo de la Castellana and also, well known for the exquisite mansions built by the Spanish nobility at the end of the 19th Century.
Following the death of the Duke, his heirs rented out the mansion to various countries, the most recent occupant being the Embassy of Philippines.
Nowadays, the mansion’s library remains intact and has been converted into the renowned Santo Mauro restaurant. The ballrooms with large windows that lead to the garden are also original.
The hotel has a splendid 700m2 garden where one can find some of the oldest chestnut trees in Madrid. During summer it becomes an extension of our restaurant and it becomes a very popular dinner venue for both pleasure and business purposes.
The hotel AC Santo Mauro is located in a residential area in Madrid's centre. 300 meters from Paseo de la Castellana (main business and shopping avenue), 500 meters from some of the most exclusive, designer shops and 300 meters from the hotel, there is a metro station Alonso Martínez with 3 lines
