Hotel Taray Botanico was built in a traditional Andalusian style, with whitewashed walls and terracotta tiled flooring. The hotel rooms are rustic and simple, but are equipped with all modern comforts.

The main building boasts 2 dining rooms, a bar, a spacious TV lounge and a vast reception area, opening out onto a rooftop terrace with spectacular views of the valley and the mountains beyond.

There are two swimming pools in the hotel’s luxurious grounds, open from March to September, and surrounded by palms and orange trees. There is also a turtle pond, a coppice of poplar trees, and stables with donkeys and a horse.

Taray Botánico is situated in the town of Orgiva and one kilometre away from the administrative centre of Las Alpujarras. Granada is 50 minutes drive to the north of here and the coast 30 minutes to the south.

The nearest airport is Granada-Jaen, which is about one hours drive to the north-west. Málaga and Almeria, 2 hours drive away respectively.
