The Botanic Garden (10 km) - This site features 16 hectares with 30,000 examples of more than 2000 different species. This was the 1st botanic garden in the north-east part of the country and it specialises in the flora and fauna of the cantabric area. Do not think any more, come and visit it!
The Laboral University (10 km) - The Labor University of Gijón is the greatest of Spain, with 270,000 m ². The construction was carried out between 1946 and 1956
Veranes Roman Vila (6 km) - This establishment is considered one of the most enigmatic places for the investigation of the transition from the Roman to the Medieval world. Amongst other structures, it has a swimming pool, mosaics and an extensive necrópolis. It is the greatest rural establishment of the Roman time in the north of Spain.
Aquarium (2 km) - The building, occupying 4,202 square metres and boasting 67 aquariums, will offer the visitor a tour of a dozen maritime zones from all over the world ranging from the coastline of the Bay of Biscay, known locally as the Cantabrian Sea, to the Caribbean Sea, via Cape Horn or the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Parador de Gijon ***
