In the Heart of barcelona, close to Plaça Cataluña y Las Ramblas, surrounded by shops, department stores and historic monuments you will find the Hotel Nouvel; a modernist building from the end of the 19th century that was converted into a hotel in 1917 making it one of the oldest hotels in Barcelona. With the arrival of the Barcelona Olympic games the hotel was completely renovated whilst maintaining the features that make it unique: Artisan ceilings, lamps of cast bronze and crystal, marble floors and colour schemes immortalized by Roca-Sastre. The expansion of the hotel in 2003 has given it one of the most sophisticated fire detection systems that exist.

The perfect position of the hotel allows our guests to visit the most important tourist spots without using any form of transport; La Rambla, Pº de Gracia, Barrio Gótico, Picasso Museum, Liceu Theatre, Palau de la Música, Museum of contemporary Art (MACBA), are a few of the places only a short walk away.
