The Hotel Castilla Alicante proudly bears the "Q" hallmark
for touristic quality, and is located in a residential area of the
city, at 50 mt. from the San Juan beach (6 km. long), one of the most
beautiful beaches of the entire region. At about 300 mt you will find
the Alicante Golf courts. The city centre can be easily reached by
public transport (tram and bus). The airport of Altet and IFA fair
grounds are located at fifteen minutes.

The hotel has a restaurant where you can choose between a three course menu with various options for the starter and the dessert, or the à la carte menu. We offer a traditional, Mediterranean kitchen. We also have a cafeteria where you can enjoy pizzas, sandwiches etc., a summer terrace and convention facilities. There is a large variety of pubs and restaurants nearby the hotel.
From the 15th of January 2006, the restaurant will be closed to the public due to refurbishment. In the meanwhile, you can have lunch and dinner in our cafeteria or "Salón Cristal".
When coming from the A-7 Mediterráneo motorway, take the exit nº 68. Follow directions for San Juan. After 2 km you will reach a second roundabout (Gibeller). From here, follow directions for Playa de San Juan. Go straight ahead until you reach another roundabout with Avenida Cataluña on your right. You will see the hotel after 50 mt.
The airport can be reached within 14 kms from the A-7 or from the National highway, driving along the coast.
The RENFE train and bus station is located at 6kms.
In the surroundings of the hotel our guests can enjoy a big leisure offer: the Terra Mítica theme park, Benidorm Palas shows, a mini cruise in Alicante's bay, the Villajoyosa casino, cinemas, bars, restaurants and pubs. The hotel is also located at 300mt from the Golf Club "Alicante golf" with 18 holes, designed by the famous golf player Severiano Ballesteros. We have special offers for our guests for the green fees. At 2 km from the hotel you will find the Montemar Tennis club and on the beach, at 50 mt., you have a wide choice of nautical sports.
The
surrounding mountains of Puig Campana, Mongó and Aitana offer
beautiful hiking routes. If you love to go for a long, relaxing walk,
we can recommend the promenade connecting the San Juan beach to the
town of El Campello, another tourist site.
Alicante also has a very animated commercial life, a historic city
center and the characteristic La Explanada promenade with hundreds
of palm trees and views over the marina.
