Moraira is a lovely little resort town, a former fishing village, with 2 lovely
beaches, pleasant shops, bars and restaurants, but no high rise development
or package tourism. There are sandy beaches - a favourite is El Portet,
a small, shell-shaped bay with sandy beach - and lots of rocky coves, and
opportunities for watersports from windsurfing to scuba-diving.
It is a one hour drive from Alicante airport (all but the last 10 minutes on the motorway), or one hour twenty minutes from Valencia airport, or two hours from Murcia airport. |
