Bilbao is the capital of Biscay, founded back in 1300 by don Diego López
de Haro. It has 354,000 inhabitants and is the main industrial and
economical axis in the Basque Country. It nestles on both banks of
the Bilbao Estuary (Ría del Nervión)
The
city is currently experiencing a full restructuring with major investments
(Palacio Euskalduna, Museo Guggenheim, Bilbao Exibition Center, tram,
metro...)These projects are being carried out by prestigious international
architects (Fran Geri, Normas Foster, Santiago Calatrava ...). Thats
why, Bilbao has come up as a new tourist destination, as proved by
many travel magazine. |
Burgos:An
interesting city that remembers its past heroes, such as Fernán
González, the Count that founded the county and El Cid,
with a street named after him in which runs alongside the hotel and
forms part of the pilgrimage route Camino de Santiago.
Just a few metres from here you find the Arco de San Martin and three
stone pillars that mark the site of the Solar del Cid, the ancestral
home of his family and where D. Rodrigo Diaz de Virar a Castilian
nobleman, then military and political leader once resided.
There
are many other attractions to keep you occupied during your stay the
most impressive of which is the Cathedral, a world heritage site with
stunning gothic architecture, many other churches and the Castle. |
Cuenca city
is the cultural capital of the Province of Cuenca and has a lot to offer.
The old town is breathtakingly beautiful and pleasant. Several museums
can be visited. Certainly worth a visit !
Hanging Houses/Built over a rock above the Huecar's river Gorge in the 15th century, the Las casas colgadas are the only remaining sample of this type of buildings which were frequent in this city long time ago.Las Casas Colgadas can be considered the most famous civil building in Cuenca. They house a restaurant and the Museum of Abstract Arts and they serve as the background of millions of photos made from the bridge of San Pablo. |
Both Lugo province and city offer a wide range of possibilities to those
who visit us. The walled historic centre, packed with historic buildings,
where even today the Roman heritage can be felt... The Roman Wall (A
World Heritage Monument), the Roman Baths, our Cathedral, the Provincial
Museum, our streets...Nearby we also have the coast of Lugo, which is
known for its beaches of fine sand and crystalline waters, not to mention
Lugos proximity to well-known tourist destinations like Santiago
de Compostela and La Coruña. |
La Rioja- The cultural and leisure offer in the surroundings is endless. The
Rioja wine is of course our most famous product and Logroño
is the best place to discover the world of wine and practice the enotourism:
visiting cellars, wine tasting, and visiting specialized shops. |
Marbella: Located
at the heart of the Costa del Sol, Marbella is, without
a doubt, the jewel of the coast. With its Mediterranean architecture,
the resort offers many possibilities to its thousands of visitors:
27 km of beaches, numerous golf courses, world-famous marinas, luxury
hotels, excellent restaurants, shopping centres, and a vibrant nightlife. |
